All Coast Tyre Solutions are looking for a qualified mechanic or 3/4^th year apprentice to join our Goodyear Autocare store in Maroochydore.

This role is a full-time permanent position, pay rates are negotiable on qualifications & motivation.

Goodyear Autocare Maroochydore is a “ONE STOP SHOP’ for Tyre, Brakes, Suspension, Logbook Servicing, Batteries, Exhausts, Car Servicing, Steering and All Mechanical Repairs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade Qualifications 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar role is ideal. Will consider 3rd & 4th year apprentices
• Excellent diagnostics: Ability to think laterally
• Previous Experience with tyres – fitting and wheel alignments desirable but not essential
• Multi-brand experience (Automotive)
• Strong safety focus, sound knowledge and adherence to OH&S practices
• Energy to meet the demands of our environment and time restraints
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• You must be reliable, enthusiastic, and possess good communication skills
• Stable Work History
• Must be able to work on alternate Saturdays (Rotating Roster)

Job Responsibilities

• Vehicle Logbook Servicing – Passenger, 4WD & Light Commercial Vehicles
• Diagnostics – successfully identifying mechanical faults
• Mechanical Repairs
• Brake repairs & replacements
• Suspension
• Driveshaft repairs & replacements
• Identifying causes of irregular tyre wear
• Keeping workspaces clean and tidy
