For one, your car maybe one of the biggest investments that most of us are likely to make, and it’s worth making sure that investment lasts by keeping it safe and dependable for you, your family and other road users. Furthermore, keeping up with your logbook services is essential for maintaining the value of the car as, when it comes to reselling, most people are going to look at it first and foremost as an indicator of what kind of condition the car is in.

What exactly comes with a logbook service? Here, we’re going to breakdown the various parts of the service and why they’re so crucial.

Battery Test

As the primary provider of power for your car, it’s essential that we do a battery health test. This includes making sure that not only does your car get the power that it needs, but your battery is able to hold as much of a charge as it should. Its not fun to have a flat battery, especially when your in a hurry. 

Tyre inspection,  Rotation & Pressure check

After all, the tyre is where the car meets the road, making them one of the most critical components. For that reason, we make sure they’re working properly.  

Tighten wheel nuts by hand with a tension wrench 

Tighten wheels to the correct tension with tension wrench for your ultimate safety & to ensure your wheel nuts are not over tightened.

Eventually, clogged filters start reducing the amount of clean oil that gets passed through, so we have to replace them regularly.

As mentioned, oil filters become less effective over time and this begins to affect the cleanliness of the oil itself. The more impurities in the oil, the less efficiently it lubricates the moving parts of the engine, so we must change it.

Check condition and levels of all fluids and oils

Aside from the oil used to lubricate engine parts, we also check and make sure you have full levels of all liquids in the car, including coolant used to avoid overheating.

Check Condition of all brakes and components

Given that the brakes are essential for helping to control your speed on the road, we naturally need to make sure all parts of it are working as intended.

Check condition and adjustment of drive belts
